I'm so touched!

I was somehow nominated for the NBC-25 city voter for best photographer section. I'm not sure how awesome it is to be nominated since I don't understand the nomination selection...but I am very touched at the response I've gotten! Even some of my previous clients who I wasn't sure of how happy they were because their reaction was a bit boring--wrote some really nice things. So as of right now, I'm beating my competitors by 200%. Voting doesn't end until May, but it has me excited! I don't think I've won anything since Jr. High!

Also, I had a newborn session on Sunday again. And while waiting for James to pick me up, Chrissy took a few shots of me in my new glasses. I can't believe how wonderful these new glasses are! I can see better and didn't even realize until now that I was missing out! HD is now really HD! The experience of the blu-rays is so much better. Eh, while I was at the doctors though I talked to them about this barely visable bump that appeared under my eyelid. It kind of just feels like a vein or something but the doctors said that it is an internal stye--and very very small. But that it can get bigger and require surgery. :( I'm supposed to put a warm compress on my eye everyday to try to help it go away. I really hope it does! I seriously get ill from even thinking about touching my eye...I think they'd have to sedate me hours before the actual surgery if that were to happen! I was a serious pansy with the doctor even looking at it. Anyway, here are a couple (chrissy did a good job!):
