When you wake up in the morning...

It's a quarter to five...and you just can't wait to come alive...
You brush your teeth. Shhh shhh shh shh shhh shhh shh shhha

So I haven't updated in a couple of weeks. Been pretty busy lately and haven't had a chance to edit any new pictures of the kids. Here are a few that I hadn't posted but had gotten ready for the blog a while ago. Carl planted lots of flowers at this house and so I had lots of fun discovering all the flowers here. Bleeding hearts are so odd looking to me.

Why the weird title and song? Elijah and Berlin got motorized toothbrushes for Easter and they just LOVE them! Eli is a bit picky and won't brush unless he has the baby orajel toothpaste on it but he walks around the house brushing. I took a few pictures.

James started traction yesterday. He was hurting a bit worse afterwards but said that he could feel a relief while the machine was going. Just in a few days, the pain is moving up out of his knee and up into his hip. It has made a big leap in the past week....which had started in his ankle and calf. The doctor said that this is very good news. They didn't have a great outlook on this to begin with because of the length of time he has had it, they were worried about nerve damage and a very long repair time....but they seem to think he is recovering well. If anyone in the Sterling Heights area ever needs a chiropractor, this guy is amazing! I hurt myself somehow last week. Went to one chiropractor and he hurt me worse and actually sprained my neck. I went to James' guy and he fixed me in 10 minutes! It was pretty cool.

I have plenty of pictures from the past couple of weeks to post. Memorial Day and Timmy and Erin being in town...plus, I went to Detroit with my photography group again for a short while yesterday and got some more pictures from that. SO after I'm done with work pictures...I'm excited to get some up of the fam!

Paint Ball.

The weekend before last we went out to my parent's property in Fostoria to play a little paintball. I went to take pictures but ended up playing too. I looked like an oompa loompa though. In 75 degree weather, I wore a full body carhart suit with 3" foam padding wrapped around my belly! :) James really shouldn't have gone because of his back but he tried a little....ended up laying on the ground after a while though. It was an interesting day. Berlin was really freaked out at first because she thought we were getting hurt...but then she loosened up and tried on the mask, saying "let's go!" and trying to rally support of her playing what she calls "cracking" too. The noise of the guns is the reason for the name I'm assuming. Elijah was asleep most of the time but he woke up as we were leaving. We thought it would be funny to put him by Chrissy's friend's truck with tires bigger than him. He thought it was so fun to run under the truck.... I didn't think that was so great myself. Anyway, here are a few from the day:

Feel like you were there?

You have to feel like you live with me with all these pictures I post!!

It just dawned on me today that I've only got 14 weeks left until baby girl arrives! I am so not prepared yet! I'm on the search for a baby crib for her. I'd like white this time. We aren't sure where we are going to have her nursery now. Originally we thought we'd give her Eli's room but we've been debating having her share with Berlin. Not sure what would be better for our sanity. Changing both kid's sleep patterns or just Berlin's? I like that my Eli sleeps through the night. Not sure I'm wanting to mess that up by sharing with Berlin. He knows sleep time is sleep time...Berlin, doesn't really always care.

Anyway, I've found a couple cribs online for a decent price but once you add in a $70 shipping charge, it is making me want to check out garage sales or something. I've got her crib bedding already! I ordered it a little while ago and so excited to get it all out and displayed. I'll have to take a picture because Dwell Studio discontinued it and I didn't save the picture.

Okay, so here are a million pictures from our trip to the park! I've noticed how many more pictures I have of Berlin than Eli and I'm trying to make up for it by taking lots now.
