Chrissy, Kate, and I went downtown Flint for a little while tonight. We took some fun pictures of Kate and then before we left, decided to play around! So enjoy a couple of dorks messing around....

Berlin is 3! Birthday FUN!
Berlin Mae is three years old! About 2 weeks ago, I took her out to do some pictures. It wasn't very easy because she is so used to playing around in front of the camera...so getting her to not make the clown faces was a chore. With James' help we managed to get a few sweet looking ones.
For her party on Saturday, she wanted a rock star party. We saw it in a magazine and she said she wanted one...so I tried with the very last minute planning that I did. I at least tried to do a guitar cake. My step brothers came, which Matt has been living in Ohio and I haven't seen him since Christmas...and Steven lives in North Carolina--so it was a surprise for both to make it. Unfortunately, her two boy cousins were ill and couldn't make it. She still had a nice time. The end of the night didn't end very great because with all the excitement and sugar, she ended up sick...poor girl. It has been great playing with all of her new toys! She is a spoiled little girl with all this family! Thanks to everyone!
p.s. this may be a very long picture post, so you may have to go to another page to view all.

Baby 3.0 is a.....
We are very excited to announce we will be having a baby girl to add to our family. We took Berlin with us to the ultrasound today. It turned out pretty interesting. She was saying that the baby looked like a monster and she wanted it out of the screen. As well as stating that she does NOT want to touch the mud that is all over the baby, that it is icky. She was pretty excited to learn that she was going to have a new baby sister. She wants to rock her and give her hugs and kisses. So ultrasound picture is to come....
Night all!

Morning Sunshine.
Berlin actually slept later than Elijah--which is a rarity. So I had some nice alone time with him. He is obsessed with the dining room chairs. Mainly their use is for being moved around the house to reach other objects...and light switches (because those are a fascination lately). So I tried to show him how to sit in the chair at the table like a big boy by giving him some dry cereal and making a big tadoo about being a big boy eating his breakfast. :) He was so proud of himself. I love these pictures because they are taken only using the little available light coming through the door in the early morning...it feels like morning when I look at them.
Well, I should get to bed because I'm going to attempt to look decent when trying out the church by us in the morning. We are going to check out Woodside Bible church--which is giant! I'm not used to that size...but I guess there is another location right down our street. I'm not sure what one we'd go to though because the big one has a kids ministry and small group programs. Anyway, goodnight! :)

Last night we went to Holly & Joel's to celebrate Gabe's 3rd birthday. We had a nice time--complete with Coldstone ice cream cake! YUM. Gabe is getting SO big. They are going to be putting him in ice skating class soon so that he can begin little kid hockey once he completes it. Neat.
I'm looking into preschools for Berlin. Some are pretty expensive around here. I'm not so sure how worth it preschool is--I don't think playing with paint is worth $3000. So I'm trying to find one that is at least half that or under if possible. James and I spend time teaching her things but I think it might be fun for her to be in that environment. Besides the expense, I've been debating whether I'll enroll her this fall because school starts like 14 days after I'm due with baby 3.0. Not sure how great I'll be at getting things together to take all the kids. I have a hard time now getting out on time! So we'll see... either way, I'd like to check into some group classes she can join so she gets that sort of environment. Now that she will be 3 and potty trained, I can put her in those things. I was in ice skating and swimming at a really young age. I still remember the ice skating (my skates were so cute!)...it was fun :)
We cut Elijah's hair last week. I like it! He still has curls after a bath if I let it dry without combing. But I think it makes him look more boyish.
Little Cutie Pie. She is excited to be turning 3!
:)
First Haircut.
Attempting to distract him with goldfishies didn't work so we moved onto Thin Mints.
By far, the hardest haircut I've done.
Doesn't he look older?!
