Memorial Day

Memorial Day we enjoyed the nice day by doing some yard work and hanging out outside.

What a ZOO!

We went to the zoo this memorial weekend. After a nice french toast breakfast, I was inspired by hearing that Kate went to the zoo and mentioned to James that we should go sometime...and that we did! We haven't been to the zoo in a long time. It was super busy! We had to park across Woodward in off-site parking but it was a nice family outing. This weekend was a really great weekend!

Here Fishy Fishy.

She was in a funny mood and was making all sorts of faces at me when I was taking pictures a few days ago. I have lots more that I'm not posting but here are a few from the other day. We played with playdoh and made fishies. Basically, I'm just posting to post because I was bored today while waiting for company to get here and played with pictures to avoid doing things that are more boring.

3 months old!

Elijah is a quarter of a year old! He now laughs...although you can't tell because he was a bit grumpy yesterday when I had the camera out. Other than laughing and smiling he rolls over from front to back and has been trying really hard to roll back to front. That is pretty much the extent of his talent at this point. :D Love my cutie!

Super duper.

So, no super powers as of yet. Ah, speaking of superpowers... James and I saw the movie Ironman. I loved it! Still haven't heard from my totally awesome doctor but the tech said that he didn't see any fractures. It is actually feeling a lot better lately...makes me not even want to go talk to my doctor. Time waste for him to tell me to try to stay off it.
Eli is 3 months now! Tomorrow I'll post some pics I took of him today. But for now.... I took this picture of James the other day and LOVED it. Yay for no goofy "I don't want my picture taken" look! SO I have to post.

P.S. I actually did some work yesterday and I already finished because I'm an anxious and compulsive person.... anyway, those are on my other blog if you feel like looking.

Bone Scan is Ready!

Actually, I think it was Bone Saw... (spiderman quote)... Anyway, James took today off work because I have my bone scan this morning. So hopefully we'll know soon what is up! I'm a bit nervous about the injection because I hate shots. I'm worse with getting blood taken but the thought of nuclear material being injected into my body just freaks me out. James was joking that maybe I'll get some super powers. How cool would that be?! Hmm, what super power would you want? Comment if you feel like sharing! Mine would probably be telekinesis. I would love to move things with my brain. Plus, that would include myself, so i could fulfill those odd dreams we have probably all had about flying. Only I wouldn't have to flap my arms. :D I'm in a weird mood this morning if you can't tell!

More Fun Than a Paper Bag?

Grape Bubbles. Yum.

I took some pain medication last night and rested my foot pretty good, so today it wasn't hurting as bad. YAY! I'm still trying to stay off it as much as possible but I've felt bad that I haven't played as much with Berlin. So, carefully, I took her outside today to play with bubbles (they smelled like grape!) and then brought her inside to do some finger painting. I couldn't tell if she liked the finger painting or not, but after her bath she has been begging for more paint. I guess we'll have to do it some more another time.
